Selling my 1984 Chevy G20 (3/4 ton) shorty van.
This van was bought new in California and resided there until 2020. The original owner was called "Hazard". The 2nd owner purchased this van during Covid, and drove it to Virginia, where it's been for the last four years.
This van is about as factory original as you're going to find. There are no holes cut into the roof, and no evidence of spoilers, visors, or fender flares ever being installed. The undercarriage is flawless and exceptionally clean!
The dash is perfect. The seats are 99% perfect, and both are on fixed bases.
The 60/40 passenger side cargo doors have fixed-glass, and the rear cargo doors have their factory pop-out glass. All the glass are perfect on this van.
The interior is rather bare-bones, and ready for someone to make customize as they see fit.
All four tires are Mastercraft Stratus AS (235/75/15), and have less than 2,000 road miles. Tread-life appears as new.
The van has the original 305-V8 paired with the original 4-speed 700R4 transmission, with power steering and power brakes. The van came equipped from the factory with A/C, cruise control, tilt-column, power windows, and power locks. There is a custom hitch already installed on the van, and the aftermarket rear bumper is fully wired up if you were to tow with this rig. The wing windows both open and close flawlessly, and both are super tight when in the open position.
Note: the power door locks all function when pressing the drive-side door button - however, the driver-side door lock does not go up/down automatically. The driver-side window goes up/down flawlessly with the automatic function. The passenger-side window goes down only about 1/4 of the way, and you can tell the window motor must be getting tired after 40 years. The blower motor for the A/C and heat appears to have either a bad resistor or relay switch, and the blower motor does not function at any speed currently.
Van retains the original catalytic convertor and muffler - van is super quiet.
Dash cluster gauges all work. Wiper arms and wiper fluid both work. All interior/exterior lights function as they should.
The aftermarket radio works. I have not played around with the factory cruise control.
I also have some maintenance records from the last four years.
