Selling my 1979 Chevy G10 shorty van. I bought the van out of Oregon, from the 2nd owners estate - the gentleman owned it since 1982. I have a clean Indiana title in my name, and I kept the 1982 Oregon title as provenance which will go with the van too.

Original paint and original sheet metal. ZERO bondo, and no holes cut into the roof, or the side panels. This van is 99% rust-free, top to bottom, besides one very small spot on the driver side front fender - likely caused by an old battery at some point - see photo. Every other square inch of this van - including the roof and undercarriage is bone dry. There is a very soft indentation on the rear passenger quarter panel near the brake light. I haven't had a chance yet for my PDR guy to fix it.

This is a fully manual van - manual trans, manual steering, and manual brakes. This rig still has the original inline 6 engine - odometer shows 75,XXX... and I believe it to be 275,000 actual miles. I have maintenance records showing the engine was rebuilt at 180K miles. I had a complete tune-up, and the bottom end of the OG engine completely rebuilt in July 2023, with a bunch of other odds and ends - all totaling $3,000. Receipts to prove all work that was completed by my mechanic. The van runs fantastic, but with the original 250 inline 6, it ain't winning any races. Fantastic low-end torque, however. The van also a functional hitch. The wheels have less than 1,000 miles on them, front and back.

I have a bunch of maintenance records that date back to the early 80's, and shows exactly what was done to this van, and when. The previous owner was meticulous with his maintenance upkeep.

Every single electrical component in and on this van works - dash cluster gauges all work (oil and coolant sometimes intermittently), wipers work, aftermarket FM/AM radio works, and all interior/exterior lights function as they should.

The interior was custom done by the previous owner as well. It looks fantastic and is very functional with the storage compartments around both rear wheel wells.
