Selling the Hot Wheels van - a 1973 Ford Econoline E200 (3/4 ton) shorty van. This van needs nothing... hop in and drive! This van hauls ass down the road... has the best giddy up I've ever seen from a vintage van.
This van has the original 302 V8 engine paired with the presumed original C4 automatic transmission. No power steering and no power brakes. Mileage has rolled over once. True dual exhaust with headers, and the van sounds phenomenal.
All dash gauges work. All interior/exterior lights function as they should. The rear taillights have updated LEDs, and the front headlights are LED as well. I recently installed a pair of NOS chrome fog lights, attached to the bumperettes. The aftermarket radio (Bluetooth enabled) works great, and all speakers work. Speakers in all four doors.
BFG tires were installed September '25 and currently have approximately 3000 miles of road use.
-new fuel pump
-new inline fuel filter
-new carb fuel filter
-fresh oil change
-rebuilt carb from 2022
This van has just the smallest amount of rust starting to bubble on the passenger side roof rail - see photos. There is one other area of rust on the interior, above the windshield pinch weld 8" long - looks like Safelite did a crap job installing a new windshield at some point (see photo). Only other small area to mention would be the rear driver side panel at the bottom, behind the wheel well, there is a very minor surface rust section about 1"x1.5" - see photos for location.
The body of the van is exceptionally solid, and the undercarriage is bone dry. This van originally came from California > Texas > Indiana.
The interior is bone stock with two captain's chairs on swivel seats.
Here's a link to a video compilation of when I first purchased the van: Hot Wheels Van
Clean Indiana title in my name.
