Selling my 1975 Chevy G10 shorty van. I bought the van out of Iowa, summer of '23. This is a two-owner van, including myself. I have a clean Indiana title in my name.
The van was purchased new, in New York... and the yellow New York plates you see on this van are the ORIGINAL license plates... how cool is that? I purchased the van directly from the daughter, of the original owner.
This van was customized in '75 by Rodco Conversions. I was told this model was called the "Swing Machine". Rodco painted both murals, and all of the designs you see on the van.
Rodco installed the manual roof vent - works good and doesn't leak. No other holes cut into the roof.
The dash is perfect. The seats are 99% perfect, and both are on swivel bases. There is a curtain that swings around the interior, to block out the front windshield, for "privacy". All glass is perfect, and both windows roll up and down like butter. The rear cargo doors have fixed-glass, not pop-outs.
The custom interior was also done by the Rodco Conversion company. Everything you see in the interior, is 100% original.
The van has a 350 V8 (2-barrel carb) paired with the original 350 turbo trans, with power steering and power brakes. The original owner had a GM crate engine installed in the early 90's by a Chevy dealership, when the original engine had 100,000 miles. I have all paperwork regarding the engine install. This second engine only has 44,XXX miles! This van runs and drives like a modern vehicle. I frequently do 70-85mph on the highway with absolute ease.
Van retains the original catalytic convertor and muffler - van is super quiet...
Every single electrical component in and on this van works; dash cluster gauges all work, wipers work, and all interior/exterior lights function as they should. CB radio works perfect too.
The aftermarket radio, and aftermarket cruise control do not currently work. I have not looked into the cause.
I have a bunch of maintenance records that date back to the 70's, through the 90's.
